ABOUT URVASHI
Helping you understand yourself, navigate life's challenges, and create meaningful change.

HELLO AND WELCOME
I am a Clinical Psychologist with over a decade of experience, I help individuals and couples navigate emotional challenges, nurture meaningful relationships, and discover their inner strength to create lasting, positive change.
My work is grounded in empathy, collaboration, and evidence-based practices, helping you move towards a more balanced and fulfilling life.
Beyond the therapy room
I’m a psychologist, but that’s only one part of who I am.
I’m also a mother of two, a wife, an enthusiastic traveller, a book lover, a foodie, a fitness enthusiast, an occasional painter, a singer—and someone who finds an oddly satisfying amount of happiness in a beautifully organised space!
My mornings belong to fitness. It has become far more than a passion for me—it’s simply a way of life. Whether it’s strength training, cardio or yoga, I love beginning my day by moving my body, challenging myself and investing in my health. Those morning hours are my time to feel strong, energised and ready for the day ahead.
Travel is one of my greatest joys. I love discovering new places, cultures and experiences—and a big part of travelling for me is food. Trying a new cuisine or discovering a wonderful little restaurant can easily become one of the highlights of a trip.
When I’m home, one of my favourite ways to unwind is a good Hollywood movie, a bowl of popcorn, and my family beside me. Give me a great story and a cosy evening, and I’m happy.
I love books in almost every mood—fiction and novels when I want to disappear into another world, and psychology or self-development when I’m curious to learn something new.
Creativity is another little space I return to. Sometimes, whether I’m especially happy or feeling a little low, I find myself reaching for paints or simply drawing and creating something. There’s something wonderfully absorbing about putting a feeling onto paper or canvas without needing to put it into words.
Music is another love of mine. I love singing, and some of my happiest moments are spent with my singing buddies—getting together, sharing music and simply singing our hearts out.
My mind also loves a challenge. Chess, Sudoku, brain games—and even learning languages on Duolingo are my idea of fun. I genuinely enjoy anything that keeps me curious, thinking and learning.
And then there is my love for beautiful, organised spaces. I’m probably happiest when everything has its place and the space around me feels calm, aesthetic and put together. For me, our surroundings have a way of influencing how we feel within them.
At the heart of it all, I think I’m someone who loves movement, experiences, learning, creativity, beauty, good food, music, family—and continuing to discover new parts of life.
Because there is always more to a person than what they do for a living.
And this is a little bit of who I am when I’m not sitting in the therapist’s chair.
